Tyler Garrett presents at Wyoming State Bar Conference for attorneys

On Friday, September 8, Hathaway & Kunz Partner Tyler Garrett joined former Chief Justice, Hon. Michael K. Davis (Ret.) to present on appeals.

The hour-long presentation included guidance on procedure, helpful hints in drafting a successful appellate brief, and insight on effective oral arguments.

Of the presentation, Tyler remarked:

“Appealing a case to the Wyoming Supreme Court is not terribly complicated, but the rules are technical and often amended. Consequently, mistakes inevitably occur. Our one-hour presentation provided a helpful reference for civil practitioners to properly follow procedure and allow substance to win the day.”
