Hathaway & Kunz Serves as Bond Counsel for 3 Bond Issues, 3 Lease Financing Transactions

As a result of the successful 1% Specific Purpose Excise Tax Elections in Albany and Platte Counties in August 2018, Hathaway & Kunz was asked to serve as bond counsel on the additional bond issues and lease financing transactions highlighted below.

Additionally, Hathaway & Kunz completed lease financing transactions for the following entities:

  • Platte County, for improvements to the Platte County Courthouse and to renovate the 4-H building on the Platte County Fairgrounds;
  • Town of Guernsey, for upgrades to the Town’s water system; and
  • Town of Chugwater, for street reconstruction and repairs
